I am a psychiatrist in Cape Town. I studied medicine at the University of Pretoria and completed my specialist training at Stellenbosch University. I also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Wits University.

As a psychiatrist, I help my patients get a clear diagnosis and treatment plan for their mental health challenges. This starts with a conversation but it may include medical investigations and medication. Sometimes there are social and psychological aspects to be considered, so I work with other professionals to meet the complex mental health needs of each individual.

My special interests are depression, anxiety and trauma. I am queer friendly and try my best to be culturally sensitive. I believe that every person deserves a safe environment and science-based, compassionate healthcare.
